ETJ violins fit in most classic violin cases. They also accept all traditional chin rests and shoulder rests.

The octaved strings in the baritone version may require a slightly heavier violin bow depending of the playing technic of each one.

New electro-dynamic type magnetic pickups with onboard custom made RMacoustics pre-amp:
-Very high resistance to feedback even with metal level distortion / overdrive on loud stages.
-No sound manipulation cached from the violin body.
-Direct sound from the strings, warm and with a real dynamic sensitiveness to the smallest nuances of play.

The special Wittner mechanical tuning pegs are very precise and easy to adjust, without friction. Very light weight and placed right under the hand as on a traditional violin.

The standard tuning from low to high is:
-model 4 strings: G-D-A-E (idem violin 4/4) or an octave lower for the baritone scale model
-model 5 strings: C-G-D-A-E or an octave lower for the model with cello range (C bass of the cello)

Average weight of a 4 or 5 string model: 580gr

The weight may vary slightly depending on the nature of the wood used. The weight distribution is made at the back of the instrument for a great feeling of lightness.

Woods: mahogany or padauk / central wenge reinforcement / ebony fingerboard
